A paintball kit is a package for a specific paintball gun where the gun is not included. These kits can be basic or specialized. The basic kits usually only include a mask, some paintballs, and maybe a target or two. The specialized kits are numerous. They are specific to a gun so you can’t buy a kit for a Tippmann and put in on a different name brand gun. There are conversion kits you can get if this happens to you though. These kits can be anything from an upgrade to turn your marker into an AK-47 or M16 or a sniper kit which usually has a longer barrel, a scope, and maybe a bipod or camo. Buying one of these kits can mean having basically a brand new gun while still playing cheap paintball
