Cockpit video Los Angeles Boeing 747 landing Runway 24L

This is an unedited view of a Boeing 747 landing at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) near dusk. In regards to the zooming comments, I only zoomed to the pit window, a mere 5 feet from the jumpseat. It is framed top and bottom in the shot. If you have seen my takeoff video, you know you can barely see anything outside if you do not. Anyway, the landing speed is well over 120 knots.

    Vref is around 140 knots depending on fuel weight etc..

    PaperBoy, once you have about 30 hours in an aircraft, it isn’t as hard as it looks. Believe me, if there were no winds and I was exactly on the glide slope, I could complete the landing blindfolded from about .1 km out with ease.
