Who spends money on designer clothes?

I think that those who pay over the odds for designer clothes and accessories have more money than sense. What do you think?

yeah whats the point just because it has a name on it!

  8. My mom buys lots of designer stuff. I don’t. If I had the money I would, but I have better stuff to spend it on. My mom usually buys them on sale, though.

  13. If its just a few items or ever now and then, well thats ok. But people who dont even wear the same item twice and its designer, is nuts. I have some designer purses and Tiffany & Co. stuff, but I use them a lot and keep them in good care.

  16. I would never spend a ton of money on something just because it has a designer logo on it. I would only buy something designer if I really really really liked it, not because of the label or anythign. I hate people who do

  20. Well, i love designer clothing, bags and shoes but i do wise shopping. I buy them when they’re on sale for sure and i go to outlet mall. You should do the same.!

  21. Well things like True Religion jeans last a lot longer then for example Wetseal jeans. And juicy couture jackets are top notch quality. I buy expensive clothes for quality, not cause their brand name and designer. But I agree, paying a ton of money for junk For Example A&F cashmere sweaters or Seven jeans is stupid…

  23. ummm my whole closet right now is designer clothing. nothing is wrong with it, i just like it better and i am skinnier than alot of people and the clothes just fit me better. thats why i wear it, not becase of the label. i just like how it looks and how it fits and nothing is wrong with that. i am not THAT rich or anything. i am only 14. and nothing is wrong with that.

  25. i shop on the internet at this site called mandmdirect.com its really cheap! but to answer your question not really the most i pay for a top would be £20 if it was really nice! but my designers arent the proper designers…i like bench and hooch and topshop and jane norman and warehouse…..stuff like that!

  26. I do. If I like something and I have the money, I buy it. No shame in looking good. I make sure I buy at least one designer piece a year whether it is sunglasses, purses, shoes or jeans. I love it…

  27. Some things I buy cheap and cheerful, others I pay extra for. I don’t buy plastic shoes or plastic handbags as they look cheap and you cannot immitate the real thing. I will pay more for jeans as an ill fitting pair of jeans doesn’t do you any favours. That said, I did get a great pair in TopShop for only £40 that fitted a treat. I love to get a bargain and there are so many shops where you can get great stuff for next to nothing. I adore accessories too – they can make an outfit.

    Mostly middle class/essex people who stupidly drive around in 4×4’s.
    Theirs nothing wrong with buying the odd exspensive thing – I always treat myself to something nice, though I’m from a working class background so I appreciate everything I get, unlike middle class gits
