are designer clothes really worth the money?

are designer clothes and accesories really worth the money? and purses? i mean do people look up to you if you have better clothes in a way? im not being fake or anything, or superficial, but do people really find other people more attractive if they have a better sense of style?
If you think about it, designer clothes have better quality then low priced clothes. Don’t forget that you only have one life so you should treat yourself well, and as long as you work for the money then it’s totall worth it.
When you wear designer clothes you have this sort of confidence, and that’s in some case true. People will pay more attention to you. It may sound harsh but it is the truth, some people care more about the wrapping on the package, EX: work interview.

yeah, ppl tend to usually look better if they have good taste in fashion.
Some designer clothes are worth the money, while others are not. it just depends really.

Don’t bother. It really is a waste of money, and guys don’t really care about a brand label unless they’re just looking to steal your cash.
In all honesty, I think girls look good even if their clothes are from the salvation army, they always seem to know what looks good and what doesn’t.

They are absolutely worth the money. They last longer and are much better made than the cheap stuff you find at Forever 21 (even though I love shopping there too!). But the thing that makes them most worth the money is that to an inexperienced person with no knowledge of designers, designer clothes just look nice and pretty and well made. But to some one who does know designers/high fashion stuff, they will see your designer stuff and appreciate it.
My biggest vice is designer purses. I love, love, love to buy designer bags… my favorites are from Marc by Marc Jacobs and Kate Spade. I mean, I also shop at the Gap and Nordstrom and regular places too but designer stuff is definitely my favorite. And definitely worth the money.

There is definitely a reason why some clothes are cheap and some are expensive. Yes, the high cost is partially because of the marketing that goes with the designer brands. But you also typically get a better quality item. Cheaper clothes are way more likely to show wear and tear after wearing them only a few times – like fraying at the seams. Also, the cheap stuff tends to shrink A LOT in the wash even if you follow the instructions, whereas name brands hold their shape and size for much longer when laundered correctly. Of course there are exceptions, but a good rule of thumb is that you get what you pay for.

it just depends what fashion means to you i dont care if you wear designer clothes or not but i am not going to lie i do enjoy hanging around people who have a great sense of style but in order to have that it does not mean you need to spend tons on clothes just be creative and dont get sucked in to what society says

yes, people DO feel that way. they’ll seriously find people more attractive for having expensive things- expensive things mean money, money means stature, stature is everything.
and u gotta remember, designer clothes are usually all hand sewn, use top materials, and can just overall look better because more time and effort is put itnto their design.

yeah. style makes a person more attractive because it contributes to their overall appearance. also, wearing clothes that work with your body type makes you look better. but you can have a good style without wearing super super expensive designer stuff.!!

why waste your money! you can get way better clothes that are way cheaper and look a hundred times better!
a while ago my mom got a purse that was designer and it was the ugliest thing i ever saw my eyes started to bleed!
please never buy designer even if it looks nice you can always find something nice for a cheap price that is NOT designer

Yes, the quality of them are a lot better than cheap clothes. Especially jeans and purses.

yehh!!! i really do. It would make you look better, and designer stuff are totally worth it there prettier and made with better quality. I love designer everything! and wear it too.=]
