How can I fix white clothes that accidentally were stained light grayish-blue?
My mom was doing laundry and accidentally put a dark colored clothing item in with the whites. It turned several of the clothes to a light bluish-gray tint including my sister’s favorite shirt and my martial arts uniform top. She is planning to bleach them to try to fix this. Is there any way that we can make them white again?
If they are 100% cotton, that should whiten them. If not, try soaking in water and oxyclean.

OXYGEN BLEACH!! Don’t run to the chlorine bleach first. Soaking white clothes in a strong solution of all-fabric (oxygen) bleach in a sink, big bowl, bucket, or whatever, for a few hours or overnight will help a lot. You may even need to try it several times. I won’t promise you’ll end up with things as white as they were, but you never know. Sometimes the results are spectacular, especially with colors that don’t run. (Personal experience–been doing it for 20 years.)
