I believe so, yes. Also, celebrities dont usually buy the dresses they wear to awards shows, they arelent out by the designers. The designers either lend or rent them out just so they can get their names in the press. I dont think celebrities usually buy the dresses, because they only wear them once.

i read that it’s not really celebrties, because 9 out of 10 times it is loaned to them .

High society types; mogul’s wives, royalty, heiresses. Celebrities will buy it, but it’s usually men buying the pieces for their arm candy as designers don’t usually lend to a celebrity +1.

I’m pretty sure John Gilliano is the designer, so the clothes Gilliano has designed for dior are the highlight of the collection. Karl Lagerfelds designs were a bit odd.
